Announcing to the world(!) the transition from a French International College (focussed on the French Baccalaureate degree) to an English "International School" (focussed on the American College Preparatory curriculum for boys in the Junior and Senior High School - grades 7 to 12), the Marianist Brothers now operating the school released the following NEWSLETTER in November of 1962.
I find this interesting as it not only explains the reasons for the transition from a French College based curriculum to an American Preparatory curriculum, but also details the backgrounds of teachers I would have in the coming years.
Editor's Note: This NEWSLETTER was provided to me by former Villa St. Jean student (1958-1960), Greg Cooper of Houston Texas.
THANK YOU Greg.
Here then is the contents of the NEWSLETTER.
Enjoy.
