The 1916 Canada CENSUS of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta identified the Brooks clan home in 1916 as
29, Edmonton West, Alberta; Address: T82, R2, W6, Fairview.
It is known that Hubert Brooks had a house in Old Bluesky next to his General Store ( see section A10.6 below)
for Map of Old Bluesky), in Township 82 and the co-ordinates seem generally to match those identified on the Map of
Old Bluesky.
In the household were Hubert (Rousseau) Brooks as household head and members of the household and their ages identified as:
In 1921 ( as of June 1, 1921 for the Census) we see Hubert, Alfred and Aime listed as farmers. We see Aime helping out Fred on his farm. We see Fred married to Laura. Aime and Joe are yet to marry. We see Hubert recorded in the census as Herbert. HOWEVER this was a transcription error from the poor Census taker's handwriting to the summary document shown below.
